My son and I stayed here last year but I neglected to write a review at the time. The architecture is lovely and the antiques were just wonderful. Like a step back in time! At the time we were here, the other upstairs rooms weren't occupied so we had the bathroom to ourselves. Tina very welcoming and let us store some food in her fridge. The cooking was very good and we had a large selection to choose from. We shared enjoyable meals with other guests who were visiting from abroad. The home is not in the greatest part of town but it felt plenty safe to us and there was off-street parking available. This might not be the best choice if you have mobility issues as you might have to take stairs but I managed. I would definitely come back again. Thank you, Tina!

Old school hospitality. A real throwback to when innkeepers rolled out the red carpet for their guests traveling from far and wide. If you are looking for a unique "mi casa es su casa" experience where the host will get to know you and cook a hot a la carte breakfast for you, then this is the place. If you like bland, anonymous, and impersonal rooms and service, then there are other options.

Spent two nights while in town for a wedding. Tina is a very attentive, thoughtful and personable hostess. She covers all the bases and makes sure to accommodate any requests. The breakfast was above and beyond, not just some hotel continental breakfast. Hot breakfast items of your choice. The place is beautiful and full of history and she is very knowledgeable about the city of Troy. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for one night in early October 2025. Tina was very kind and welcoming. The rooms are clean and breakfast was wonderful. Tina does a wonderful job running everything. Everything in the house has a lot of character. Staying here was certainly very interesting. As I left, Tina asked me if I would come back to Troy. If I do come back, I will definitely be staying here. Tina suggests calling directly to book (instead of Booking.com or similar - you will get a better rate). There was some city noise but it was not unreasonable. Finally, to address some previous reviews: I did not find any evidence of bed bugs or other insects in the rooms.

My daughter and I came back to Troy for my high school reunion in August. We came across the Olde Judge Mansion by accident while looking for hotels in the area. From the minute we arrived at this magnificent, historic home until we departed, Tina, the owner was top notch . She is a wealth of information on local festivals, farmers market, restaurant's, the history of old Troy etc. She also makes a mean , hardy breakfast. Lets not forget her blueberry pancakes. I'm not sure how she makes them, but they are a must have. We stayed in the Urzan room. This room , along with the entire house was bright, clean, warm and inviting. There were plenty of extra towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows available if we needed them. Despite some of the other reviews, we found it to be very quiet in the area .I would 100% recommend staying here as I hope to stay again in the future. You should call the B&B directly to check for availability. You wont be disappointed.

I called directly to obtain pricing and information and Tina was accommodating and helpful from the start. Arriving at the Olde Judge mansion was like stepping back in time. Such a beautiful place, amazing architecture and a homey feel. Tina provided an array of items for a home cooked breakfast- as well as other items and snacks. A coffee and tea bar helped start the day as well and great conversation and stories. Highly recommend and would love to visit again and stay - Kelly and Marc
